Rose (ローズ, Roozu) is a main character in The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic. She is the leader of the Llinger Kingdom Rescue Squad. Although she uses healing magic, she is also a highly capable fighter Rose used to be a captain of the Order of the Knights but resigned after losing her dearest subordinates as well as her right eye. She forced Usato, who can use healing magic, into joining the Rescue Squad and trained him to be her right-hand man.

Rose is very brutal when she trains healers in such hardship trainings. Whenever she hears the magic color green, she will instantly take the healers to join her squad. She is extremely harsh, however, loving when you really get to know her.

Ken Usato[]
When Rose found out that Usato could use Healing Magic, she abducted him and trained him as a member of the rescue team. Rose never sugar coated anything and put him through hell but deep down cared for Usato and she was only being so harsh because she didn't want him to die like her old team. Rose has shown acts of kindness to Usato like praising him for defeating the Black Knight, and pulling his hood up to cover his eyes as he was crying.
Aul[]
Aul served under Rose as her Deputy. Rose cared about Aul like a daughter, but she would always tell her that she was not her mother so she should stop clinging to her. When Aul died protecting Rose, Rose was left devastated.
Abilities[]
- Healing magic: Rose can heal others as well as heal herself, which she showed while healing her body to withstand the demons wind magic. When healing, she emits a green glow.
- Supernatural Strength and Speed: Rose can run long lengths at high speeds whilst carrying other people; without any fatigue. Rose is considered the fastest member of the Llinger Kingdom. She can easily uproot trees with bare hands and throw them long distances with destructive force.
